Legend Maker

Series: EX

Release date: February 13, 2006

Cards: 92 (1 secret)

Set code: EX12

React Energy sits at the centre of this expansion and does almost nothing on its own: it provides a single Colorless Energy and carries no effect, the first Energy card in the game written that way. Its job is to be read by the cards around it, so a Pokémon holding one may count as two types at once, or hit harder, or place extra damage counters. Mirage Forest, the Japanese title, is where the story happens, a forest said to hide rare Pokémon and Mew above all. Masakazu Fukuda drew the three Gold Star cards that close the printed list, Regice, Regirock and Registeel, each in the colouring its shiny form wears. Groundbreaker and Shadowquake were the theme decks. The Portuguese and Chinese printings went out with no reverse holo cards at all, where the English, German, French and Italian ones had them. Legend Maker (EX12) was released on February 13, 2006 in the EX series, with 92 cards plus 1 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Regirock Gold Star #91 (Gold Star), at $1,179.80 (median of 6 sales over 90 days, October 2, 2026).
