Holon Phantoms

Series: EX

Release date: May 3, 2006

Cards: 110 (1 secret)

Set code: EX13

Where EX Delta Species stayed inside the Holon labs, this expansion heads into the country south of them, and fewer of its Delta Species carry the second Metal type the city cards had. Four Deoxys sit at numbers three to six, one Darkness, one Metal, one Colorless and one Lightning, all four of them delta. The reverse holo printing changes here as well, to a plain refractor laid across the artwork itself. Holon Phantom, its Japanese parent, ran to fifty two cards, so the English version is more than twice its size. Its two theme decks, FireMist and FloodRush, each carried a holo Latias or Latios found nowhere else. Masakazu Fukuda's Gyarados, Mewtwo and Pikachu Pokémon Star are what people open the boxes for. Holon Phantoms (EX13) was released on May 3, 2006 in the EX series, with 110 cards plus 1 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Pikachu Gold Star #104 (Gold Star), at $3,185.69 (median of 7 sales over 30 days, October 1, 2026).

A Non Holofoil version of the English card was later packed with early DVD releases of the film Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, and this print also reworded the Super Psywave attack to count Energy rather than Energy cards.
