Dragon Frontiers

Series: EX

Release date: November 8, 2006

Cards: 101

Set code: EX15

Delta Species ends here, and only a promotional series printed afterwards carries the delta mark at all. It is also the only delta set in which not one of them takes Metal as a second type. Ampharos at number one pushes the idea as far as it goes, since its Holon Veil treats every Pokémon card you own as a delta, deck and discard pile included. Japan had it first as Offense and Defense of the Furthest Ends, sixty eight cards, more than four months ahead of the English release. Shadow Blaze and Power Wave were the two theme decks. Fukuda's Charizard and Mew Pokémon Star are the chase, with Ryo Ueda's Dragonite ex and Rayquaza ex just under them. Dragon Frontiers (EX15) was released on November 8, 2006 in the EX series, with 101 cards. Its most expensive card is Charizard Gold Star #100 (Gold Star), at $6,430.90 (median of 8 sales over 30 days, September 30, 2026).

Almost. Only four do not: Ralts, Kirlia, Larvitar and Pupitar, and each of those four is also printed in the set as a Delta Species card, so the same Pokémon appears twice with two different types. Their evolutions, Gardevoir ex and Tyranitar ex, exist here in delta form only.
