Megalo Cannon

Series: Black & White Series

Release date: March 15, 2013

Cards: 76 (10 secret)

Set code: BW9

Genesect arrives with two Pokémon Tools written for it alone, and they do something Tools normally cannot: G Booster and G Scope attach to Genesect-EX and carry an attack printed on the Tool itself, which the Pokémon may then use. Both are ACE SPEC, as is Scoop Up Cyclone, so a deck may only carry one of the three. Team Plasma gets its own equipment as well, in Silver Bangle, Silver Mirror and Reversal Trigger. Iris appears twice, drawn by Yusuke Ohmura for the numbered Supporter and by Kagemaru Himeno for the full art, with Caitlin beside her at 072. Ten cards run past the printed seventy-six, the deepest block of secrets Japan gave the Black and White era. This was the last main expansion of that era, with only a reprint pack still to come. Megalo Cannon (BW9) was released on March 15, 2013 in the Black & White series, with 76 cards plus 10 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Dusknoir #85 (Ultra Rare).
