Hail Blizzard

Series: Black & White Series

Release date: September 16, 2011

Cards: 52 (5 secret)

Set code: BW3

Kyurem, Groudon and Regigigas are the three Pokémon-EX printed here, and only Kyurem belongs to Unova. Cilan gets his first card at 050, standing in front of the Striaton Gym he runs. The Stadium beside him revives an old name, the Pokémon Center, rebuilt so that either player may heal one of their own benched Pokémon once a turn. Chandelure turns up twice under two different types, as a Fire Rare at 014 and again at 057 as a Psychic Ultra Rare. That card and the Emboar at 056 are both Shiny reprints, the Emboar going back to the card that opened the era, redrawn by the same hand. Hail Blizzard (BW3) was released on September 16, 2011 in the Black & White series, with 52 cards plus 5 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Groudon EX #54 (Super Rare), at $94.94 (median of 6 sales over 90 days, October 2, 2026).
