Generations

Series: XY

Release date: February 22, 2016

Cards: 83 (34 secret)

Set code: G1

Boosters of this expansion never reached shops on their own. They were packed inside the twentieth anniversary products that came out through 2016, the Mythical Pokémon Collections, each holding two packs beside a Full Art promo and a pin for the Mythical Pokémon being given away that month, and the Red & Blue Collections, which held four. Ten cards came in a pack, eight from the numbered list and two from the Radiant Collection, a subset of thirty two cards carrying an RC prefix that had last been seen in Legendary Treasures. Those RC cards came from a Japanese concept pack, PokéKyun Collection, released a month earlier. Japan had no booster of its own here, only a Starter Pack that copied the original starter deck, its contents changing from box to box and no rarity symbol printed on any card. An Elite Trainer Box followed in July and a Mew and Mewtwo collection in September. Generations (G1) was released on February 22, 2016 in the XY series, with 83 cards plus 34 secret rares. Its most expensive card is M Charizard EX #12 (Rare Holo EX), at $72.01 (median of 10 sales over 7 days, October 1, 2026).
