Roaring Skies

Series: XY

Release date: May 6, 2015

Cards: 108 (4 secret)

Set code: XY6

Dragons dominate the list, nineteen of the numbered cards against three Fire and one Metal, and a Double Dragon Energy is printed that only they can hold. Sky Field raises each player's bench from five Pokémon to eight, and when it leaves play both players cut back down, discarding until five remain. Shaymin-EX came out of this expansion as well: put it on the bench and Set Up draws until your hand holds six. Three Ancient Traits appear, all of them marked delta, and one of the three sits on a single card in the whole game. M Rayquaza-EX is printed three times over, every one of them by 5ban Graphics. Japan released the cards in March 2015 as Emerald Break. Roaring Skies (XY6) was released on May 6, 2015 in the XY series, with 108 cards plus 4 secret rares. Its most expensive card is M Rayquaza EX #105 (Ultra Rare), at $273.61 (median of 9 sales over 7 days, October 2, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $4,463.46 (median of 10 sales over 30 days, September 25, 2026).

Because those prints came with a plush toy rather than in a pack.
