Flashfire

Series: XY

Release date: May 7, 2014

Cards: 106 (4 secret)

Set code: XY2

Charizard carries this expansion, in both of the Mega forms that X and Y gave it. The gold secret print for M Pokémon-EX starts here, and all three of the set's secret cards use it. Lysandre gets his first card, an ordinary Supporter at 90 and a full frame version at 104, both drawn by Ken Sugimori, and the effect switches one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon with their Active one. Wild Blaze supplied the Japanese material in March 2014, with the M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck folded in on the English side. Magnezone-EX, Toxicroak-EX and Kangaskhan-EX complete the full frame block, and Pokémon Center Lady and Pokémon Fan Club sit beside Lysandre as Supporters. Fiery Torch, Pal Pad, Startling Megaphone, Sacred Ash, Trick Shovel and Protection Cube are the Items it adds. Flashfire (XY2) was released on May 7, 2014 in the XY series, with 106 cards plus 4 secret rares. Its most expensive card is M Charizard EX #108 (Secret Rare), at $127.40 (median of 8 sales over 7 days, October 1, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $9,881.87 (median of 7 sales over 90 days, September 17, 2026).
