Series: Sword & Shield

Release date: October 8, 2021

Cards: 25 (26 secret)

Set code: CEL25

The card game turned twenty-five in 2021, and this short set is the party. Its own list is a roll call of cover Pokémon, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Palkia, Dialga and Lunala among them, alongside Flying Pikachu and Surfing Pikachu printed as both V and VMAX. Beside it runs the Classic Collection, replicas of famous cards from earlier series that keep the original numbering, rarity and copyright line, minus the Wizards of the Coast credit on the oldest ones. Every card in both halves carries the 25th Anniversary logo, which is how a replica is told from the card it copies. Packs held four cards rather than the usual ten and came only inside branded products, from the Elite Trainer Box up to the Ultra-Premium Collection. No reverse holo parallel was printed for the English set, and the two cards most often asked for are the gold Mew that closes the list and the Professor's Research drawn by Ken Sugimori. Celebrations (CEL25) was released on October 8, 2021 in the Sword & Shield series, with 25 cards plus 26 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Mew #25 (Secret Rare), at $53.75 (median of 37 sales over 30 days, October 1, 2026).
