Single Strike Master

Series: Sword & Shield Series

Release date: January 22, 2021

Cards: 70 (21 secret)

Set code: S5I

Two packs shared this release date, and between them they brought the Single Strike and Rapid Strike battle styles into the game, each pack carrying one of the two. Single Strike is the heavy half, and its badge sits on Urshifu in its Single Strike form, on Tyranitar V, and on the Tower of Darkness and the Single Strike Energy that feed them. Mustard is drawn as a Supporter in his Single Strike Style, with Bruno and Phoebe beside him. Not one Water Pokémon appears anywhere in the list, which is the clearest sign of how the fifth expansion was split between its twins. Tapu Koko, Mimikyu, Flapple and Stoutland take the remaining Pokémon V. Kinu Nishimura signs the second of the two Single Strike Urshifu VMAX in the secret block. Single Strike Master (S5I) was released on January 22, 2021 in the Sword & Shield series, with 70 cards plus 21 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Tyranitar V #77 (Super Rare), at $248.64 (median of 3 sales over 90 days, October 1, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $190.93 (median of 9 sales over 90 days, September 26, 2026).
