Three rules changed on the day this pack went on sale beside Sword: the Fairy type was retired, Poison Pokémon moved from Psychic to Darkness, and the player going first lost the right to play a Supporter. Morpeko and Snorlax are the only two Pokémon VMAX in it, matching the pair that Sword printed. Zamazenta V stands opposite Zacian, one Legendary Pokémon to each half of the launch. Marnie heads the Supporter block, and kirisAki's full art of her is what the half is collected for. Sableye V, Indeedee V and Torkoal V fill out the rest of the V line. Both halves sold five cards to a pack, and English shops received them merged into a single Sword & Shield expansion two months later. Shield (S1H) was released on December 6, 2019 in the Sword & Shield series, with 60 cards plus 15 secret rares.
