Shiny cards fill the back of this High Class Pack, a hundred and forty secrets behind a hundred and ninety numbered ones, which made it the largest Japanese set on the day it appeared. The plain shinies were drawn again from scratch and given a rarity of their own, while the shiny Pokémon V reuse the Full Art paintings they already had, with gold stars scattered across the body as well as the background. Packs carry ten cards and guarantee a Pokémon V or VMAX in each one. Shiny Charizard V and its VMAX sit at 307 and 308, at the top of that block. Marnie appears in her Gym Challenge uniform, a card the English release left out, so the picture reached the West only later as a promo. It was the fourth subset of the Sword and Shield era in Japan, between Legendary Heartbeat and Peerless Fighters. Shiny Star V (S4a) was released on November 20, 2020 in the Sword & Shield series, with 190 cards plus 140 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Charizard VMAX #308 (Shiny Super Rare), at $108.21 (median of 15 sales over 90 days, October 2, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $143.19 (median of 6 sales over 90 days, September 26, 2026).
