Pizza Hut has given out nine Pokémon cards, all in Traditional Chinese and none in Japan or the West: a Pikachu 172/SV-P in Hong Kong and Macao (October 31, 2024 to January 15, 2025), four cards 051 to 054/M-P there (November 27, 2025 to January 28, 2026), and four different cards 109 to 112/M-P in Taiwan (June 16 to July 27, 2026). Each came free with a pizza order, and each is an existing illustration with a red Pizza Hut roundel printed over the corner of the art.

Every campaign ran while stocks lasted, and none sold the cards on their own. In Taiwan the packs set off a rush: sales of the campaign meals were reported on July 9, 2026 to have risen more than 400 percent in the first week, resellers appeared online, and buyers who wanted only the packs gave the pizzas away or sold them cheap.
How to tell them apart
The roundel is what makes these Pizza Hut cards, and each roundel print has a number of its own. Each Taiwan illustration also exists without it in Traditional Chinese, under other numbers and with the same text, so matching by Pokémon or by artwork is not enough: check the corner of the art and the number.

The /742 numbers are cards of the Traditional Chinese Start Deck 100 Battle Collection (初階牌組 100對戰收藏). The Partner Set stamp (超級進化 夥伴組合) sits in the same corner as the roundel. Nor are Taiwan's four cards a reissue of Hong Kong's: same four Pokémon, but new numbers, new illustrations and a new year.

The 2024 Pikachu is numbered in the Scarlet & Violet promo series: 172/SV-P is a Basic Pikachu, 70 HP, with Growl and Pika Bolt, and the Japanese card with the same number is a different one, a Kangaskhan.

The 2025 Pikachu is graded far more than the three starters that came out of the same random packs.

Pikachu 054/M-P is 596 of the wave's 709 PSA gradings, 84 percent, against 35 to 40 for each of the three starters. PSA listed no Taiwan card yet; CGC listed 65 on September 24, 2026: 28 Pikachu, 17 Chikorita, 10 Tepig and 10 Totodile.
Other chains in the Traditional Chinese market
Pizza Hut was not the first restaurant chain to give Pokémon cards in Traditional Chinese: KFC Taiwan gave three stamped cards in 2022. The restaurant campaigns in that market's promo lists, as of September 24, 2026:

Pizza Hut is the only one of these chains to have come back: three campaigns in all. The three Pizza Hut campaigns and KFC's came from the same operator, Jardine Restaurant Group, which took over Pizza Hut in Hong Kong in 1987, Macao in 1989 and Taiwan in 1990, and KFC Taiwan in 2010. Finding them today
All three campaigns have ended. The cards trade as singles and graded copies, and sealed promo packs from all three campaigns also sell, through Hong Kong and Taiwan sellers and import shops. A sealed 2025 or 2026 pack holds one card at random from four, so a set of four takes several packs.
FAQ
Where did Pizza Hut give out Pokémon cards?
Only in Hong Kong and Macao (2024 and 2025) and Taiwan (2026), in Traditional Chinese. As of September 24, 2026, Pizza Hut has given no Pokémon card in Japan or in any Western country: its 2019 campaign in Japan for the film Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution brought pizza boxes and a plastic folder. Pizza Hut Malaysia's Pokémon combos of July 2025 came with a photocard and pins, not game cards.
Is the Pizza Hut 172/SV-P card a Pikachu?
Yes: a Basic Pikachu, 70 HP, drawn by OKACHEKE, with the Pizza Hut roundel. It came with a booster pack in Hong Kong and Macao from October 31, 2024 to January 15, 2025.
Are the Taiwan Pizza Hut cards the same as the Hong Kong ones?
No. They show the same four Pokémon, but they are numbered 109 to 112/M-P instead of 051 to 054/M-P, use other illustrations, carry ©2026 and the J mark, and give Tepig and Totodile 80 HP instead of 70.
