Marumiya, the Japanese maker of furikake rice seasoning, has given out exactly five Pokémon Trading Card Game cards, all in July 2015: Dedenne 013, Froakie 036, Pikachu 064, Chespin 148 and Snorlax 149/XY-P, one per pack of its Pokémon furikake mini pack or Pokémon curry. Marumiya's other Pokémon collectibles are the stickers packed in its products, today called Pokémon Kira Kira stickers: collectors grade them, but they are not game cards.

Four of the five numbers were also given out in other campaigns, so the Marumiya print is recognized by a small red 丸美屋 (Marumiya) mark at the bottom left. The one card only Marumiya gave, Snorlax 149/XY-P, sells for $88.42 raw over 5 real completed sales, as of September 24, 2026.

How to tell a Marumiya print

All five Marumiya prints carry a ©2015 line and the red 丸美屋 mark in the bottom left corner, next to the retreat cost and outside the illustration. The official card database lists each of them as a separate card labeled 丸美屋 スペシャルカード (Marumiya special card); Froakie 036 appears there twice, once for the Mega Pack and once for Marumiya. The prints they get confused with:

  • Daiichi Pan, September 2016 (Dedenne 013 and Chespin 148): a red oval ポケモンパン badge inside the illustration and a ©2016 line.
  • The Mega Pack Froakie 036 (2014): holo, no logo, ©2014. The Marumiya Froakie is not holo.
  • Pikachu 064: the July 2014 print carries the McDonald's logo (see our McDonald's catalog), the January 2015 print the Daiichi Pan logo, and the June 2016 print of the Black Mega Gardevoir campaign no logo at all.
  • Dedenne 013: three more prints carry the logos of the CoroCoro campaign (see our CoroCoro guide), the Lizardon Mega Battle campaign and 7-Eleven's summer 2014 campaign (see our 7-Eleven guide).
The Marumiya prints of Froakie 036/XY-P and Snorlax 149/XY-P: a ©2015 line and the red 丸美屋 mark at the bottom left, next to the retreat cost.
Not Marumiya prints: the September 2016 Daiichi Pan Dedenne and Chespin, with the ポケモンパン badge on the art, and the June 2016 Pikachu 064/XY-P with no logo. The site has no scan yet of the Marumiya prints of these three.

How the July 2015 campaign worked

The cards came only in packs carrying the campaign notice of two products, the Pokémon furikake mini pack (20 sachets) and the Pokémon curry (pork and corn, mild), due in stores in early July 2015. Each pack held one of the five cards, while stocks lasted, and those packs left out Marumiya's usual Pokémon Get! sticker. The same promotion put Bandai Data Carddass cards in Marumiya's Precure range (four cards) and Kamen Rider range (three).

No other Marumiya card appears in the Japanese promo lists, before or since.

Marumiya's Pokémon stickers

Marumiya began packing character stickers with its furikake in 1964, when an Eightman sticker made its Noritama seasoning a hit with children. Most of its Pokémon products carry one Pokémon Kira Kira sticker, from a lineup of 40 designs that the company renews from time to time: the February 2023 lineup, for example, added the Paldea Pokémon. Limited editions have carried special stickers instead: 20 designs in the limited furikake and curry of July 6 to August 31, 2023, and 10 designs for the 30th anniversary in the limited furikake and beef curry of July 16 to August 31, 2026.

Most search results for Marumiya Pokémon cards show these stickers. PSA grades them as non-sport cards (its 2023 Marumiya Pokemon Stickers set, for example), and so does CGC, but they cannot be played, and the site does not track their prices.

Finding them today

The 2015 cards trade second-hand, mostly in Japan through card shops and auction sites; from abroad, a proxy service can buy and forward them, as our guide to buying Japanese cards from abroad explains. Ask for a photo of the bottom of the card before buying a Dedenne, Pikachu or Chespin: the red mark and the ©2015 line are what separate the Marumiya print from its twins.

FAQ

What Pokémon cards did Marumiya give out?

Five Pokémon TCG promos in July 2015, one per pack of its Pokémon furikake mini pack or Pokémon curry: Dedenne 013, Froakie 036, Pikachu 064, Chespin 148 and Snorlax 149/XY-P.

Are Marumiya Pokémon stickers real Pokémon cards?

They are official Pokémon stickers sold in Marumiya's Pokémon products, but not Trading Card Game cards: they cannot be played, even though grading companies grade them.

How do I know if my card is the Marumiya print?

Look for a ©2015 line and a small red 丸美屋 mark at the bottom left, next to the retreat cost. A red oval ポケモンパン badge on the art means Daiichi Pan, and a holo Froakie with no logo is the Mega Pack print.

How much is the Marumiya Snorlax worth?

Snorlax 149/XY-P, which only Marumiya gave out, sells for $88.42 raw over 5 real completed sales and $2,889 est. in PSA 10 on a single sale, as of September 24, 2026.

Does Marumiya still put Pokémon cards in furikake?

Not as of September 24, 2026: its Pokémon products carry Kira Kira stickers, and its 2026 limited furikake and curry, on sale from July 16 to August 31, 2026, came with one of ten 30th anniversary stickers.
