Wind from the Sea

Series: E-series

Release date: May 24, 2002

Cards: 87 (3 secret)

Set code: WFS

Undersea ruins at the southern tip of the e-Card continent set the scene, and the publisher presented the three special Energy cards as objects lying in them. Those three are Crystal, Boost and Warp Energy, and they close the numbered run at 85 to 87. Three more cards follow with numbers that overshoot that total, the first secret slots any Japanese e-Card expansion carried. It was the third of the five, and the West received it folded together with The Town on No Map. Entei, Kingdra, Ampharos, Slowking and Tyranitar hold the foil half of the doubled numbering both sets use. Wind from the Sea (WFS) was released on May 24, 2002 in the E-series, with 87 cards plus 3 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Nidoking #88.
