About this card
Nothing about the name predicts the type: this Tyranitar is a Fighting card, which Bulbapedia puts down to its secondary Rock typing, since no Darkness-type Pokémon was turned into a Dark Pokémon in this expansion. Mountain Smasher flips one coin per Fighting Energy attached and does 20 damage a head, with each head also burning a card off the top of the opponent's deck. Shin-ichi Yoshida sets the scene in an eruption of red streaks and flying debris, the Tyranitar planted square in the middle with its arms low. Copies from this run carry the small Edition 1 stamp on the left below the artwork, the last English cards to receive one, and nothing took its place afterwards.
