About this card
Both attacks cost Colorless Energy only, so the Metal typing never dictates what a deck has to run, beyond a Scyther to evolve from. Threaten deals no damage at all: on heads it exposes the opponent's hand and shuffles one Trainer card back into their deck. Mitsuhiro Arita, self-taught and drawing for the game since 1996, gives the Scizor translucent wings caught mid-beat over a black starfield. Bulbapedia notes it as the only single-typed Pokémon card that can take both special Darkness Energy and special Metal Energy without a drawback.
