Dragons Exalted

Series: Black & White

Release date: August 15, 2012

Cards: 124 (4 secret)

Set code: BW6

A new type joined the English game with this expansion, the first the publisher had added in more than a decade. It came without a matching Energy card, so every Dragon attack in the set has to be paid for in other colours. Japan issued the material as the paired Dragon Blast and Dragon Blade packs in March 2012, and the English release adds the Hydreigon and Garchomp Half Decks to them. Magmortar at 21 does not carry the same picture in both languages: the Japanese print aims its cannon straight at the reader, and the English one has it holding the cannon instead. Rayquaza appears twice over, as a Pokémon-EX inside the printed count and again as a Shiny secret above it. Both the Japanese packs and the English expansion landed in a Year of the Dragon. Dragons Exalted (BW6) was released on August 15, 2012 in the Black & White series, with 124 cards plus 4 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Rayquaza #128 (Secret Rare), at $339.26 (median of 5 sales over 30 days, October 2, 2026).
