Shining Darkness

Series: Diamond & Pearl

Release date: July 5, 2007

Cards: 119

Set code: DP3

Darkrai leads this expansion, as an ordinary holo and again as the Pokémon LV.X the publisher put at the front of its announcement. The tenth film, in which Darkrai meets Dialga and Palkia, opened in Japanese cinemas nine days after the packs went on sale. Those other two legendaries head the pair of standard decks released the same day, built from the same card pool and each holding a guaranteed LV.X. Roseanne's Research, Team Galactic's Mars and Professor Oak's Visit are its Supporters. Charizard and Blastoise come back as plain holos from Daisuke Ito, and Kagemaru Himeno's Mew is the card most often looked for. Shining Darkness (DP3) was released on July 5, 2007 in the Diamond & Pearl series, with 119 cards. Its most expensive card is Mew DPBP#182 (Rare Holo), at $119.99 (median of 4 sales over 30 days, October 1, 2026).
