Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky

Series: Diamond & Pearl

Release date: July 10, 2008

Cards: 92

Set code: DP8

Japanese cards got their collection numbers back with this expansion, after five blocks of the DP era had printed a DPBP figure instead, and the numbering has stayed ever since. Every Pokémon card in the Japanese print drops the Pokédex line under the artwork, because several of them carry more text than the space allows. Shaymin, Heatran, Raichu, Dusknoir, Machamp and Regigigas take the six Pokémon LV.X slots, and the eleventh film, which opened nine days later, names Giratina and Shaymin in its Japanese title. Poké Drawer, Poké Healer and Poké Blower arrive as three Trainers marked with a plus sign, each of which may be played two at a time for a stronger effect. Voltorb, Duskull and Drifloon are printed in their Shiny colours inside the ordinary numbering. Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard close the list as the first retro cards the game made. Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky (DP8) was released on July 10, 2008 in the Diamond & Pearl series, with 92 cards. Its most expensive card is Charizard #92, at $192.98 (median of 5 sales over 30 days, September 30, 2026).
