Crossing the Ruins...

Series: Neo Series

Release date: July 7, 2000

Cards: 56

Set code: NEO2

The Ruins of Alph, straight out of Gold and Silver, are the theme the publisher printed on this pack, and Unown and Smeargle came with them. Six Unown letters are here, A, D, F, I, M and U, where the English Neo Discovery would later run to nine. Houndour appears twice over, once as a Fire card and once as a Darkness one. Ruin Wall was printed in two versions, one showing Kabuto and one Aerodactyl, and Fossil Egg, Energy Ark and Hyper Devolution Spray complete a Trainer block of four names. Packs held ten cards, and Japanese cards of this era carry no collection number at all. Espeon and Umbreon are what the boxes are opened for, with Scizor, Tyranitar and Politoed behind them. Crossing the Ruins... (NEO2) was released on July 7, 2000 in the Neo series, with 56 cards. Its most expensive card is Umbreon No. 197 (Rare Holo), at $278.60 (median of 17 sales over 30 days, September 30, 2026).
