Awakening Legends

Series: Neo Series

Release date: November 23, 2000

Cards: 57

Set code: NEO3

The Pokémon Company published this expansion itself, the first time it had done so, with Media Factory left as distributor. Its story picks up past the Ruins of Alph and reaches Ecruteak City, where Entei, Suicune and Raikou wake, and all three become cards. Shining Magikarp and Shining Gyarados follow the Water block and are the first cards of their class anywhere. Three more Unown are printed, K, B and Y, after the six that Crossing the Ruins had used. Ho-Oh and Celebi hold two more of the holo slots, while Rocket's Hideout and Healing Field are the two Stadiums. It shared its release day with Neo Premium File 3, a binder holding nine cards that are each of a different type. Awakening Legends (NEO3) was released on November 23, 2000 in the Neo series, with 57 cards. Its most expensive card is Shining Gyarados No. 130 (Rare Holo), at $2,984.94 (median of 5 sales over 90 days, September 30, 2026).
