About this card
Dragon Bond costs a single Psychic Energy and pulls Gyarados, Dark Gyarados or Shining Gyarados straight out of the deck, which is a long reach for a Magikarp with 30 HP. Japan later handed the same card out through the Pokemon Card Fan Club, and that version dropped the rarity mark and took the embossed foil that Neo Destiny would later give its Shining cards. Here the foil is the ordinary cosmos pattern, spread over the whole window rather than over the fish.
