About this card

This is the Japanese debut of a card that had already been out in English for three months, where Team Rocket printed it as the first secret card the game ever made. Japan simply filed it in among the Lightning cards at Super Rare, since cards of this era carry no collection number to sit outside of. Mitsuhiro Arita has Raichu lunging out of the frame, tail whipping behind it, teeth bared in something between a grin and a snarl.
