5 cards
V Jump, Shueisha's monthly manga and video game magazine, has come with five Pokémon cards, in two issues: the four-card Salamence Super Evolution Set (Bagon, Shelgon, Salamence and Devolution Spray, 193 to 196/BW-P) with the January 2013 issue, on sale November 21, 2012, and Gengar Spirit Link 055/XY-P with the November 2014 issue, on sale September 20, 2014. No other V Jump Pokémon card had followed as of September 24, 2026.
The two holo cards carry the value. As of September 24, 2026, real completed sales put Salamence at $40.04 raw and $408 in PSA 10, and Gengar Spirit Link at $37.57 raw and $514 in PSA 10. The other three sell for a few dollars.

The Salamence Super Evolution Set (November 2012)
The January 2013 issue came with a sealed four-card pack, the Salamence Super Evolution Set (ボーマンダ超!進化セット). Its theme was the Dragon type, which had reached the Japanese game ten months earlier with Dragon Selection (January 27, 2012). Salamence is the only new card of the four. Bagon and Shelgon reprint their Dragon Selection cards, and Devolution Spray reprints Ryo Ueda's version from Dragon Blast (March 16, 2012), each with the V Jump logo added.
In English, Salamence came out in Plasma Blast (August 14, 2013) as 64/101, next to Bagon 62/101 and Shelgon 63/101, and the Ryo Ueda Devolution Spray is Dragons Exalted 113/124. Those English cards are not the V Jump prints: none carries the magazine's logo.
Gengar Spirit Link (September 2014)
Gengar Spirit Link is a Pokémon Tool: when the Pokémon it is attached to becomes M Gengar-EX, your turn does not end. The November 2014 issue of V Jump carried it as a Cracked Ice reverse holo with the V Jump logo in the artwork. Thirty-six days later, from October 26, 2014, the same number went out in a plain print as a participation prize at Battle Festa 2014 and its Satellite Gym Battles, and no Japanese card product sold it until August 7, 2015, 321 days after the magazine.

Medians of real completed sales as of September 24, 2026, in US dollars, with the number of sales behind each; "est." marks a median that rests on one or two sales. Our catalog records both 055/XY-P prints on one page, so the Gengar medians may include plain Battle Festa copies. We have no price for the sealed Salamence set.
A PSA 10 is common for these two cards: as of September 24, 2026, 208 of the 360 Salamence and 278 of the 444 V Jump Gengar Spirit Links graded by PSA were 10s, close to six in ten.
Buying V Jump cards: what to check
Look for the V Jump logo, at the bottom left of the four 2012 cards and at the bottom right of the Gengar's artwork. Without it, the card is another print: this Salamence in Plasma Blast, Bagon and Shelgon in Dragon Selection, a plain 055/XY-P Gengar from Battle Festa. The 2012 set also sells still sealed in its original pack.
Cards that are not V Jump cards
- Yu-Gi-Oh! promos. V Jump comes with promo cards for other games, the best known being Yu-Gi-Oh! cards numbered VJMP, which is why most results for "V Jump cards" are Yu-Gi-Oh!.
- The glossy Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise of 1998. They come from the Trade Please! mail-in campaign (February 10 to July 31, 1998) and were reprinted on the Pokémon Song Best Collection CD of January 1, 1999, both prints with the Pikachu Records logo where a set symbol would be.
- Old-back magazine promos. Most of those, from 1996 to 2001, came with Shogakukan's CoroCoro, and our CoroCoro guide lists them. V Jump is published by Shueisha, which created it to compete with CoroCoro.
- Alolan Vulpix 023/SM-P. Shueisha's Jump Festa handed it to visitors of its Pokémon booth on December 17 and 18, 2016; it did not come with the magazine.
