About this card
Pikachu comes straight at the viewer, cheeks flaring, sparks outlining its body, a flat cartoon lightning bolt behind it and grey rock walls closing in on both sides. The lower right of the illustration window carries the Summer Pokémon Card Gym Festa 2017 logo, a rainbow over an orange starburst, so the card names its own channel: it went to players who turned up at those gym events. Beside Saya Tsuruta's credit runs a Pokedex line about a recently announced plan to gather Pikachu and build a power station, which sits oddly against all that bare rock.
