For its first High Class Pack of the Scarlet and Violet era, Japan brought shiny Pokémon back to the game. A hundred and seventy of the 360 cards are secrets, which made this the largest Japanese set of its day, past the 330 of Shiny Star V. The plain shinies were drawn fresh, while the shiny Pokémon ex reuse the Full Art pictures they already carried. Packs hold ten cards with one Pokémon ex guaranteed in each. Charizard ex, Gardevoir ex and Mew ex take the three Pokémon ex special illustration slots, beside five more given to Supporters, and the Charizard went back to AKIRA EGAWA, who had given the same card its first special illustration four months earlier. The pack was revealed at the close of a streamed exhibition tournament held for the card game's twenty seventh anniversary.
