Series: PCG

Release date: April 9, 2004

Cards: 82

Set code: FLL

A new era starts here, the first Japanese expansion of the PCG run, timed to the Game Boy Advance remakes FireRed and LeafGreen. Its title points at the legendary birds, and Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres each arrive as a Pokémon-ex, all three painted by Ryo Ueda. Nine ex cards sit in the list, with Gengar, Gyarados, Electrode, Clefable and two Mr. Mime alongside the birds. That pair of Mr. Mime ex is the oddity of the set: same artist, same attack, same HP, and the only difference between them is that one turns aside any attack damage that is an odd multiple of ten, from 10 up to 170, while the other stops the even ones, from 20 up to 180. Kanto fills the whole expansion after a year of Hoenn, and the Trainer cards take their names from the items and the people of those games. Flight of Legends (FLL) was released on April 9, 2004 in the PCG series, with 82 cards. Its most expensive card is Gengar ex #48 (Rare Holo ex), at $423.02 (median of 11 sales over 30 days, October 4, 2026).
