Skyridge

Series: E-Card

Release date: May 12, 2003

Cards: 144 (38 secret)

Set code: ECARD3

Wizards of the Coast lost the Pokémon licence right after this expansion, so it had a single print run and was never reissued. It closes the e-Card series and doubles the Crystal Pokémon count Aquapolis had opened with, from three cards to six: Celebi, Charizard, Crobat, Golem, Ho-oh and Kabutops, all numbered past the printed 144. Four Mystery Plate Trainers arrive with it, Technical Machines lettered α to δ whose attack does one thing while the opponent is far from winning and another when they are one Prize away. Holo cards are again lifted into a separate H1 to H32 run, and unlike Aquapolis the secret Crystal cards were also printed as reverse holos. Booster boxes each carried one oversized topper, and the four picked were Charizard, Crobat, Ho-oh and Kabutops, which leaves Celebi and Golem as the two Crystal cards that never got one. Its Kadabra was the last printed anywhere for twenty years, kept off cards by Uri Geller's legal fight with Nintendo, and the species only returned in 151 after he withdrew his objection in 2020. Skyridge (ECARD3) was released on May 12, 2003 in the E-Card series, with 144 cards plus 38 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Charizard #146 (Rare Holo), at $4,917.60 (median of 5 sales over 90 days, September 24, 2026).
