About this card

The frame is the one the game started with: a gold border, a level printed next to the name, and the illustrator credit down in the bottom left corner where modern cards no longer put it. Ken Sugimori draws Pikachu against black with white lightning forking behind it, and a red Pokemon Pan oval sits at the top right of the window. Daiichi Pan slipped five promos into special packs of its mini egg buns and melon buns from 1 September 2016, two of them wearing this old layout for the game's twentieth year.
