About this card
The official product copy described the pair as the season turning from autumn to winter, which is how the two cards are split. This is the autumn one, with Vulpix standing in a swirl of lifted leaves and the whole frame sinking into orange. Its attack, Ochiba atsume, gathering fallen leaves, answers Yuki atsume, gathering snow, on the Alolan Vulpix, right down to an identical coin-flip draw. They are the first Pokémon cards to carry the booota credit, and they arrived in the later of two Vulpix boxes that Pokémon Center sold that year.
