Route 111 and its desert are the subject the publisher gave this expansion, and the fossils buried there give it its shape. Claw Fossil and Root Fossil are printed as Trainers, and the Anorith and Lileep they revive both appear in the list. Lunatone and Solrock arrive as sun and moon but land in different type blocks, one Psychic and one Fighting, and Seviper and Zangoose are separated the same way. Rare Candy is printed for the first time anywhere here, beside Double Full Heal and the two Supporters, Lanette's Net Search and Wally's Training. Multi Energy closes the numbering and is the one card in that block marked Rare. Cacnea, Wynaut and Azurill get their first cards in the same pack. Miracle of the Desert (MID) was released on April 18, 2003 in the ADV series, with 53 cards. Its most expensive card is Gardevoir ex #28 (Rare Holo ex), at $107.20 (median of 5 sales over 30 days, October 1, 2026).
