Collection X

Series: Pokemon XY Series

Release date: December 13, 2013

Cards: 60 (3 secret)

Set code: XY1

Mega Evolution reached the card game with this expansion, and M Venusaur-EX is the second card in the list. A Mega card ends your turn the moment it is played, carries a single attack, and prints that attack's name inside the illustration, in English on the Japanese and Korean cards and in Japanese on everyone else's. Pokémon-EX also gained a rarity mark of their own here, RR, where an ordinary Rare would show R. Vivillon is the curiosity of the set, since number 008 was printed with two different wing patterns, Meadow and Elegant. Two of the three Kalos starters are on this side, Fennekin through Delphox and Froakie through Greninja, with Professor Sycamore and Team Flare Grunt as the Supporters. The packs were relabelled with this release as well, dropping the recommended age from ten and over to six and over. Collection X (XY1) was released on December 13, 2013 in the Pokemon XY series, with 60 cards plus 3 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Xerneas EX #63 (Super Rare), at $37.06 (median of 5 sales over 90 days, October 1, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $192.41 (median of 6 sales over 90 days, June 15, 2026).
