BREAK 20th Anniversary Starter Pack

Series: Pokemon XY Series

Release date: February 27, 2016

Cards: 72 (5 secret)

Set code: 20th

Buying this in February 2016 got you a sixty card deck whose contents changed from box to box, grouped by evolution line and by type rather than chosen. It came in two separately wrapped halves, the first always holding either Mega Venusaur-EX or Mega Charizard-EX with a run of Pokémon and Energy of the matching type, the second three more groups and a few Trainers. Damage counters, a Chansey coin and a rulebook came in the box, and no card in the deck carries a rarity symbol. Ryo Ueda drew the Articuno and the Zapdos, the only two legendary birds in it, and Tomokazu Komiya set a Diglett in a flowerbed. The English side rebuilt the same cards as Generations, a set sold inside anniversary boxes rather than in booster boxes of its own. BREAK 20th Anniversary Starter Pack (20th) was released on February 27, 2016 in the Pokemon XY series, with 72 cards plus 5 secret rares. Its most expensive card is M Blastoise EX #74.
