About this card
Masakazu Fukuda illustrated every Gold Star in the game, twenty-seven of them through the EX era, and this is the Fire card of the first trio. He tips the head crest over the top edge of the artwork window and lets one claw hang below the bottom edge, so the bird sits half outside its own frame. Fireworks, a name borrowed from a Ponyta printed only in Japan on Expansion Sheet 3, can cost you the Fire Energy you just attached if the coin comes up tails.
