About this card
The card prints Tyranitar at level 54, one short of the level Pupitar actually needs to evolve in Gold and Silver, and it hands the Pokémon a Slam attack it cannot learn in those games either. Hironobu Yoshida has illustrated only a handful of cards across the whole game, and two of them are this Tyranitar and the Lugia at the head of Neo Genesis. He sets it in a deep red field where the back plates catch the light and the rest of the body reads as one heavy green mass. It is Tyranitar's first card, filed under the Darkness type that Neo Genesis had introduced one expansion earlier.
