About this card
Aya Kusube fills the window with Gengar's head and shoulders, grin wide and eyes half closed, so the card reads as a portrait instead of a scene. She works mostly on children's books and on advertising aimed at children, in a style that deliberately mirrors the way children draw. Kusube was also a conceptual designer on Doraemon. English 1st Edition runs stop with Neo Destiny, which makes the Edition 1 mark on this copy the last of its kind.
