Destined Rivals

Series: Scarlet & Violet

Release date: May 30, 2025

Cards: 182 (62 secret)

Set code: SV10

Team Rocket takes over most of this expansion, the last main set of the Scarlet and Violet Series: eighty three of its cards belong to the organisation, and more than forty five of those are Pokémon printed under its name. Cynthia, Ethan, Misty, Marnie, Steven and Arven supply the other side, each with Pokémon filed under their own name, and ten of the seventeen Pokémon ex here belong to a trainer. Japan sold the same material as Glory of the Rocket Gang, the Hot Wind Arena subset and two ex Starter Sets built around Marnie's Grimmsnarl and Steven's Metagross. Two weeks before the release date, the Marnie and Steven Rival Battle Decks put some of these cards into players' hands early. Atsushi Furusawa painted the four booster wrappers, pairing Giovanni with Mewtwo, Cynthia with Garchomp and Ethan with Ho-Oh, the fourth going to Team Rocket at large. Destined Rivals (SV10) was released on May 30, 2025 in the Scarlet & Violet series, with 182 cards plus 62 secret rares. Its most expensive card is Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex #231 (Special illustration rare), at $373.11 (median of 5 sales over 7 days, October 4, 2026). A sealed booster box sells for $395.00 (median of 41 sales over 7 days, October 3, 2026).
