About this card
A Piplup with sixty HP, numbered 239 out of 236: it belongs to a run of twelve secret cards that each show an ordinary Pokémon beside the trainer known for it, here Dawn, caught mid-stride with her fist up against pastel bokeh. Those twelve open the set's secret block, which then carries on through the rainbow prints and the gold ones to 271. It is the first card Tomomi Kaneko illustrated, and she works on concept art and on Pokémon and character design for the games.
