About this card

This one had to be won at a Battle Road, the local tier of organized play, where only first place took the gold cup. Victory Cup was printed as three cards for the top three finishers, and the numbers run against the standings, BW29 being the bronze for third place and BW31 the gold, each stating its placing at the bottom left of the text box. The artwork scales with the result: Victini stands alone on the bronze, the Unova starters join on the silver, and Reshiram and Zekrom fill the dark behind the gold. Our scan carries the Battle Road Autumn 2012 stamp beside the text, one of four seasons the prize was given out across, so the 2011 in the copyright dates the card and not the win.
