Trick or Trade 2026: No New Bundle, Three Pokéween Promos

There is no new Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle for Halloween 2026: as of October 7, 2026, The Pokémon Company has announced none, and its list of October 2026 card releases holds no Halloween product. Halloween 2026 brings three Pokéween promo cards instead, Zubat 049/086, Golbat 050/086 and Crobat 051/086 from Chaos Rising, stamped with the Pikachu jack-o'-lantern and earned at Play! Pokémon stores from October 1 to 31, 2026, along with a sticker sheet. The last new bundle came out on August 30, 2024, with 35 mini packs of 3 cards for $14.99, and sealed 2022 to 2024 bundles sold for $59.85 to $69.82 in real completed sales as of October 7, 2026.

All three are Chaos Rising cards (May 22, 2026), reprinted with their number and regulation mark J, plus the Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp at the bottom right of the artwork and a Play! Pokémon logo behind the attack text, as on 2025's Spiritomb promo. As of October 7, 2026, the company had not said whether they are holofoil; its pictures are renders. The regular prints are on our Chaos Rising set page.

How to get the 2026 promos

Take part in a Pokéween activity (Pokéween is the company's name for its Halloween season) at a Play! Pokémon store, a game store that runs official events, between October 1 and October 31, 2026: open play, trade sessions, tournaments and other events. Each store sets its own schedule and decides how it awards the three cards and the sticker sheet, so ask yours before you go; the Play! Pokémon event locator lists the stores near you. The announcement mentions no Trick or Trade BOOster pack and no Pokémon GO code, the two extras every 2025 attendee received with the Spiritomb promo.

The company published the same announcement on September 17, 2026 on its US, UK, French, German and Brazilian sites, and the French and German pages show the cards in French and German.

Is there a Trick or Trade bundle in 2026?

Not as of October 7, 2026. Every earlier bundle was revealed in June or July and launched on September 1 (August 30 in 2024). For 2026, the company's roundup of October releases, published October 1, lists six products and no Halloween one, and the product schedule on its press site names Trick or Trade bundles for 2022, 2023 and 2024 only. A late bundle is still possible, but nothing points to one.

2025 had no new set either: the bundles sold that fall held packs from earlier years, and the year's only new Trick or Trade card was the Spiritomb promo. Since no 2026 bundle has been announced, a bag sold as one is an older bag, a repack or not an official product: compare it with the three bags below.

Two other 2026 products look the part without being Halloween cards. The Enhanced 2-Pack Blister of October 2, 2026 pairs two booster packs and a plastic coin with foil Gengar, Marshadow and Team Rocket's Mimikyu cards, none of them stamped in the official photo. The Pokémon Center's Halloween 2026 collection opened on August 20, 2026 with decor, apparel and pajamas, and no cards in that first drop.

What changed from year to year:

• 2022, the first bundle: 30 Sword & Shield cards with yellow borders, from Rebel Clash to Astral Radiance.
• 2023: 50 packs for $19.99, the only one of the three bags listed above $14.99, with cards from Sword & Shield to Paldea Evolved, so yellow and gray borders mixed; the first year it was released in the United Kingdom.
• 2024: back to $14.99 for 35 packs, all Scarlet & Violet cards from Paldea Evolved to Twilight Masquerade, the ten holos printed in cosmos holofoil. In October 2024, Pokémon Leagues in the United States and Canada could host Pokéween events that gave every attendee a Trick or Trade BOOster pack.
• 2025: no new set. Play! Pokémon stores could host Pokéween events from October 1 to 31, 2025, where every attendee received a Trick or Trade BOOster pack, a Pokémon GO code (Rare Candy with an Incense or a Lucky Egg) and a Spiritomb 087/132 with the stamp and a Play! Pokémon logo.
• 2026: no bundle; the three Chaos Rising promos and a sticker sheet, earned at Play! Pokémon stores.

In the United States, the bundles were sold by big retailers, supermarkets and the Pokémon Center, and warehouse clubs carried bigger bags: 120 mini packs at Costco (a 120-pack bag exists for each of the three years) and, in 2024, 80 at Sam's Club. Sealed, these sold for a median $125 (2024, 80 packs, 27 sales) and $166 to $209 (120 packs, 8 to 10 sales for each year) over the 30 days to October 7, 2026.

In Europe, the bundles came out in the United Kingdom, in English, from 2023. No French or German edition has been made, and shops in Germany and elsewhere in Europe sold imported English bags. The 2026 Pokéween promos are announced for Play! Pokémon stores in the United Kingdom, France and Germany as well.

Card lists, 2022 to 2025

Every Trick or Trade card is a reprint that keeps its original number, so each number below belongs to the expansion the card came from. Each bundle list has 30 cards, 10 of them holo, with one holo in every mini pack. Each year also has its own set page with every card: Trick or Trade 2022, 2023, 2024 and Pokéween 2025.

Pokéween 2025

One card: Spiritomb 087/132 from the Mega Evolution expansion (uncommon, illustrated by mingo, regulation mark I), with the stamp and a Play! Pokémon logo behind its text, given to every attendee of a Pokéween event at a Play! Pokémon store in October 2025.

What Trick or Trade cards are worth

The sealed bags hold the value. As of October 7, 2026, a sealed 2023 bag sold for a median $69.82 (34 sales), a 2024 bag for $64.83 (44 sales) and a 2022 bag for $59.85 (37 sales): 3.5 to 4.3 times their list price, or $1.40 to $1.85 a mini pack against 37 to 43 cents at launch. Prices have risen into October: counting only the standard 35-pack 2024 bags, the median was $58.86 over the 90 days to October 7, 2026 (156 sales) and $63.47 over the last 30 (62 sales). Live prices are on the bundle pages for 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Ungraded single cards sell for little; PSA 10 copies of the most popular ones, such as the 2024 Gengar, are the exception. None of the stamped cards has a median in our sales data as of October 7, 2026, which is why the prices here are for sealed bags. Graded 10s are plentiful for the popular cards: by September 1, 2026, PSA had graded 25,901 Trick or Trade cards of 2022 to 2024 and given 6,722 of them a 10. The most graded:

PSA population as of September 1, 2026, stamped Trick or Trade copies only.

The 2024 cards have the lowest share of 10s: 17.1% of the 11,612 graded, against 24.3% of 5,941 for 2022 and 39.5% of 8,348 for 2023. The 2024 Gengar alone has been graded 5,118 times, more than any other Trick or Trade card at PSA, and 841 of those copies are 10s.

How to tell a Trick or Trade card

• The stamp: an orange Pikachu jack-o'-lantern, also called the Pikachu pumpkin stamp, at the bottom right of the artwork, on every Trick or Trade card and on the 2025 and 2026 Pokéween promos.
• The number: the card's original number and set symbol or set code, unchanged, so a Trick or Trade Gengar 057/091 carries the Paldean Fates number. Our guide to Pokémon set symbols shows where to read both.
• The holos: ten each year, one in every mini pack; the 2024 holos are cosmos holofoil.
• The Play! Pokémon logo: the 2025 Spiritomb and the 2026 promos add it behind the attack text; the bundle cards do not have it.
• Tournament play: the stamp is official, and the tournament rules do not count official stamps as alterations, so a Trick or Trade card is legal wherever its regular print is. As of October 7, 2026, Standard takes regulation marks H, I and J (since April 10, 2026): the 2026 promos (J), the 2025 Spiritomb (I), the 16 Temporal Forces and Twilight Masquerade cards of 2024 (H), and any other card with an identical reprint that carries one of those marks. In Expanded, from the Black & White Series on, they play like their regular prints.

Handing them out on Halloween

At list price, a mini pack cost 37 cents in 2022, 40 cents in 2023 and 43 cents in 2024; bought in a sealed bag on October 7, 2026, it costs $1.40 to $1.85. The packs were made to be handed out to trick-or-treaters instead of candy, three cards each with one holo, and the company pitched the 2023 bag as a treat for children with food allergies. The 2026 promos are earned at stores, not sold, so the Trick or Trade packs in a 2026 Halloween bowl come from older bags.

FAQ

Is there a Trick or Trade 2026?

No new Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle has been announced as of October 7, 2026. Halloween 2026 has three Pokéween promo cards instead, Zubat, Golbat and Crobat, earned at Play! Pokémon stores from October 1 to 31, 2026.

When does Trick or Trade 2026 come out?

It has no release date, because no 2026 bundle has been announced. The earlier bundles launched on September 1, 2022, September 1, 2023 and August 30, 2024; the 2026 Pokéween promos run from October 1 to 31, 2026.

Was there a Trick or Trade in 2025?

Not a new set: the bundles sold that year held packs from earlier years. The only new Trick or Trade card was a stamped Spiritomb 087/132, given with a Trick or Trade BOOster pack and a Pokémon GO code at Pokéween events at Play! Pokémon stores in October 2025.

How many cards are in a Trick or Trade pack?

Three, one of them holo. A bundle held 40 mini packs (120 cards) in 2022, 50 (150 cards) in 2023 and 35 (105 cards) in 2024, drawn from 30 different cards each year. Other products are in our guide to how many cards are in a Pokémon pack.

How much is a Trick or Trade bundle worth?

As of October 7, 2026, sealed bags sold for a median $59.85 (2022, 37 sales), $69.82 (2023, 34 sales) and $64.83 (2024, 44 sales) in real completed sales, against list prices of $14.99, $19.99 and $14.99.

Are Trick or Trade cards worth anything?

Ungraded singles, very little; the value is in sealed bags and in PSA 10 copies of the most popular cards, such as the 2024 Gengar. PSA 10s are not scarce, though: PSA had given a 10 to 6,722 of the 25,901 stamped cards it had graded by September 1, 2026.

Are Trick or Trade cards legal in tournaments?

Yes, wherever the regular print is legal, because the jack-o'-lantern stamp is official. In Standard, as of October 7, 2026, that means cards with an H, I or J regulation mark, or with an identical reprint that has one, among them the 2026 promos and 16 of the 2024 cards.

Are Trick or Trade cards real Pokémon cards?

Yes. The Pokémon Company International made them, as reprints of cards from regular expansions with an added stamp.

Where can I buy Trick or Trade packs in 2026?

Nothing new is on sale: sealed 2022 to 2024 bags and loose mini packs sell on the secondary market, and the 2026 promos are earned at Play! Pokémon stores, not sold. Our guide to where to buy Pokémon cards compares the stores and marketplaces.
