About this card
Number 001 in Korea's own SM-P promo run went out on 18 November 2016 inside the New Nintendo 3DS XL bundles that paired a console with Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon. Sanosuke Sakuma drew Pikachu meeting the three Alola first partners on a beach, and the card does the same thing in play, since its second attack fetches a Rowlet, Litten or Popplio out of the deck. Sakuma also worked as a character designer on those two games, where she created several of the Trainer classes. The picture was later reused on Thai and Indonesian promos under different numbers.
