A fourth card rides on every sheet of the green series, printed on a back that does not match the other three. Those extras are not playable Pokémon at all: some are gags credited to the entertainer Imakuni?, some set out alternative rules such as a four prize game or a battle fought with three decks, and some propose a deck to build. One of them, Bill's PC, doubled as a pass card for the Evolution by Mail campaign. Posting it to Media Factory with a Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler, Haunter or Omanyte from the sheets brought back the evolved form as a holographic promotional card, and the offer closed in April 1999. The ordinary cards keep the format of the blue and red series, with Lavender Town, Cinnabar Island, the Safari Zone, the Seafoam Islands, Cerulean Cave and a seaside cottage on the backs.
