About this card
Red and orange bursts scatter around Mew on a dark crimson ground, painted by Nakaoka, who is credited with one name only. The card reached every year of Japanese primary school in two waves: the August 2005 issues went to the second, fourth and sixth grade magazines, the September ones to the first, third and fifth. Its Poke-BODY switches on only while a React Energy is attached, and then it blocks every effect of the opponent's attacks except the damage itself.
