About this card
Magma Spurt discards the top five cards of your own deck and pays 30 damage for every Fire or Fighting basic Energy that comes off in the process. Ken Ikuji, who signed this card and nothing else in the Japanese subset, spent those same years modelling Pokémon in three dimensions for Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Colosseum.
