About this card
Every surface in the base drawing is metal, Lucario's steel blue, Melmetal's chrome sphere and the wall of grey hexagons stacked behind them. The pastel wash takes all of that away, turning the sphere peach and the plates blue and pink, which leaves the highlights to carry the material on their own. What survives the recolour intact is the geometry, since the hexagons keep their hard edges whatever colour they are handed.
