About this card
Prime treatment almost always went to an evolution, and Absol is one of only three Basic Pokemon in the whole run to receive it, alongside Celebi and Mew in this same set. Eye of Disaster taxes the opponent for building a bench, dropping two damage counters on every Basic they put down while Absol is Active. Hakozaki sets the white face against a swirl of magenta and teal, the scythe horn cutting across the top of the window.
