Two Pokémon share one printed card for the first time here, in the TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX, where the Pokémon LEGEND of a decade earlier had needed two halves. They are Basic cards with unusually high HP, and knocking one out hands the opponent three Prize cards instead of one. A yellow bar under the name marks them out, and their GX attack carries a plus sign for a bonus you buy by attaching more Energy than the attack asks for. Each pair shares a type: Pikachu & Zekrom, Eevee & Snorlax, Gengar & Mimikyu, Celebi & Venusaur, Latias & Latios, Magikarp & Wailord. The cast is Kanto, following Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, which is why Brock, Erika and Sabrina turn up on Supporter cards. Bulbapedia records four print types for a TAG TEAM, a plain card, two Full Arts with different pictures and a rainbow, though not every pair in the set received all four. Team Up (SM9) was released on February 1, 2019 in the Sun & Moon series, with 181 cards plus 15 secret rares.
