About this card
Gastly and Haunter arrived with the Base Set, and Gengar had to wait for Fossil to make its first English appearance. Keiji Kinebuchi frames it in three quarter view, grin bared and eyes narrowed, with a black shadow of its own thrown across the right half of the window. In a set where Kinebuchi mostly handled the Trainer cards, this is one of only two Pokémon he signed, both of them holo. Its Pokémon Power, Curse, moves a damage counter from one of your opponent's Pokémon to another, even when that knocks the second one out.
