Victory Ring (Battle Road 2005,2006)

About this card

Pikachu balances the ring on one raised paw, a gold band wider than he is tall, with lightning forking across the dark behind him. Takumi Akabane kept the engraved V from the earlier band, and this print came out holographic where the first one did not. How it was handed over changed as well: the framed certificate gave way to a perspex mount, which carried the event, the region and the age division but no longer the winner's name. One conference never took place on its date, Kyushu on 20 March 2005, pushed to 8 May by the Fukuoka earthquake.
